From our campsite it is easy to reach picturesque locations such as Pompei, Ercolano, Naples, the Vesuvius National Park, Capri, the Amalfi Coast with Positano, Ravello and Amalfi, and, most importantly, the Cilento National Park.

Those interested can visit the local buffalo farms and follow the various phases of the mozzarella production. You can taste specialties such as yogurt, ice-cream, cream and, of course, the mozzarella; all of which are made strictly with Paestum buffalo milk. From the campsite it is possible to take a day trip on a boat to appreciate the richness of the flora and fauna in the national reserve of the River Sele, or to visit the nearby Paestum pine wood which protects the sand dunes in the Oasi dunale di Legambiente. Obviously, you cannot miss the Paestum archaeological site, located just 7km from the campsite. Take the opportunity to stand amazed in front of the three magnificent Doric temples which date to 450 BC.
